RER Pcocks Sun Patch

This stunning smoky black roan snowcap filly was foaled May 16, 2006.

At three years old, Tina is measuring just shy of 15h and weighs about 850lbs. Imprinted at birth, she's so much fun to work with. She leads at the walk and trot, backs, side passes, pivots, ties, bathes, picks up all four feet for trimming, trailers like a pro, is lunging at the w/t/c and reversing, has been bridled and saddled, accepts a fly mask and blankets, loves all over grooming, worms and takes shots with little resistance. She's more curious than fearful of new "things". She's very familiar with tires, jolly balls, squeaky toys, flags, tarps, cones, plastic bags, ground poles, a bridge and hanging things. She's also been exposed to cars, tractors, the lawnmower, motorcycles, helicopters, planes, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, peacocks, sirens and even a Kazoo! Tina has been started under saddle in the arena and will continue her training as a hunter pleasure prospect this fall.

She LOVES people. Doesn't matter if she knows them or not. You walk up to the corral or go in it, she's right there looking for scratches and attention. She's very smart, inquisitive and lovey.

Some of the 140+ ApHC Traditional lines in Tina's pedigree include Chief Chelsea, Chief Malhuer, Chocolate Sunday, Freels Chico, High Thunderbird, Oklahoma, Rileys Purple Doll, Rodeo Day, Storm Cloud F and The Tobys. Her bloodlines also include ApHC Hall of Fame inductees - Bambi E, Chief of Fourmile, Joker B, Mansfield Comanche, Patchy, Prince Plaudit, Red Eagle, Red Eagles Peacock, and Sundance.

Anni

A Foundation Appaloosa filly born March 25, 2009.
She's very well put together ; very nice, feminine head, kind eyes, small ears, decent neck, very nice shoulder, nice heart girth, clean legs, short coupled, good hip, tracks straight.

She's super quick in turning and has a really nice stop for her age . She really gets under herself to get moving and has a nice floating trot. She'll be weaned by mid-Sept. By that time, I'll have her halter broke at the walk, picking up all four feet (which she already does), loading, bathing and standing tied for short periods. She is currently on a worming program and will be at least used to rasping her feet.

She will be registered ApHC (97% FPD), FAHR, CRHA and Sundance 500. Ranch work and Western disciplines will most likely be most suited for her.

Her sale price is $3,000.

Testimonials:

Just a note to tell you, Darcy, how thrilled we are with our purchase of Vanilla Ice, a.k.a. "Stoli," whom we have started calling "Princeton" (my husband Stu's alma mater), as this horse is truly a gentleman and a scholar! It's obvious he has been gently handled and beautifully schooled, because his ground manners are lovely, he is a joy to ride in the ring and on the trail -- and while a spirited and beautiful show horse, he is as affectionate as a puppy, coming right over when we call him in the paddock, and standing while we rub him or put a halter on him. He is everything you represented him to be, and more than we hoped for -- or expected in a horse purchased sight unseen over the Internet. We would not hesitate to purchase another horse from Darcy Edwards Training Center/El Capitan Equestrian Center, or to recommend you to anyone. Thank you again!!!!!
